Blackview has announced its new smartphone, the SHARK 8. The company says that this smartphone is made for younger generations, and it actually comes in some fun color options.
The Blackview SHARK 8 has been announced
The Galaxy Blue and Scorching Gold colors show various different colors based on how the light hits them, as you can see in the provided image above. The Moonlight Gray is also available, for those of you who want something a bit more… subdued.
As you can see, this phone has a circular camera island on the back, in the top-left corner. Its sides are flat, and all of its physical buttons are placed on the right side. A flat display is also included in the package, as is a display camera hole.
The Blackview SHARK 8 is fueled by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, and ships with Android 13 out of the box. Blackview’s DokeOS 4.0 skin sits on top of Google’s OS. That skin gives you plenty of customizability, nice animations, and some added features, of course.
It includes a 120Hz display, and a 5,000mAh battery
There is a 6.78-inch fullHD+ (2460 x 1080) included on this phone, and this is a 120Hz panel. A 5,000mAh battery sits on the inside, and the phone supports 33W fast wired charging. Yes, the charger is included in the box.
Blackview included 8GB of RAM inside of this phone, though you can expand that for an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. 256GB of storage is included, and you can expand it up to 1TB. There are two SIM card slots included here (2x nano SIM).
ArcSoft 7.0 tech/algorithms are in use here, while a 64-megapixel main camera (Samsung’s ISOCELL GW3 sensor) sits on the back of the phone. That is the only camera on the back. A single 13-megapixel unit does sit on the front, though. HDR mode is included, as is the ‘Super Night Mode’ for low light photography. You also get access to Beauty Mode, Panorama Mode, and even Pro Mode in the camera.
HyperEngine 2.0 Lite gaming tech is used here
The Blackview SHARK 8 comes with an integrated cooling system as well, and the HyperEngine 2.0 Lite gaming tech. The device supports 4G LTE connectivity, is 8.35mm thick, and weighs 198.3 grams.
This smartphone can be yours for only $93.99 as we speak. That price is limited to the first 50 purchases for each color variant, though. The phone will be discounted until November 17. If you’re interested, the purchase link is available below.
