Forced shutdowns generate system checks on next boot, hence recovering journal.
As you always arrive at a black screen, I still wonder if your Nvidia drivers are correct.
However, I cannot help with the exact commands because I do not have Nvidia GPU.

If it doesn’t help, there are many posts about “remove and install Nvidia” drivers in these forum pages, take a bit of time and have a look………..
