Note: It is common for Odin to stop responding when you are loading the files. If it happens, let it take its time, and it will be back to normal in no time.

  1. When you are in Download Mode with your phone connected, you will see a blue tab light up on the left side. This means your device is connected.
  2. Extract the downloaded firmware on your PC, and you will find multiple files.
  3. On the right side, tap the AP button and load the AP file from the extracted firmware.
  4. Just like that, do the same with BL and CP files. In CSC, you have to add the Home CSC file, or else you’ll lose your data.
  5. Once all the files are loaded successfully, you can go ahead and click on Start, and this will start the flashing process.

Make sure that you are not doing anything to your phone when it is flashing. Once it flashes successfully, you will get a message saying “PASS” on Odin, and the phone will reboot itself. If, however, it fails to reboot, simply press and hold Volume Down and Power buttons together until it reboots, and you are good to go.

The first boot after the fresh update is going to take some time but let your phone sit for a while, and you will be greeted with your lock screen shortly.
