How to recover deleted playlists on Spotify
Zak Khan / iandroid.eu
You can recover deleted playlists because Spotify doesn’t completely eliminate them when you hit “delete.” Instead, it removes the playlist from your profile, but the actual collection of songs still exists for 90 days. As long as you’re within that timeframe, here’s how to recover a deleted playlist:
- Log in to the Spotify web player and head to the page.
- From the menu on the left, click on Recover playlists.
- You’ll see all the playlists you deleted within the last 90 days, and you can hit Restore next to the playlists you want to recover.
- The restored playlist will appear at the bottom of your playlist collection.
If you don’t see the restored playlist, try searching for it. If it still doesn’t appear, close and restart your web browser, then log in again.
No, after 90 days, Spotify will permanently delete removed playlists.
You can try looking in Play queue > History to see if the song you recently deleted is in your play history. If not, you can search for the song you deleted and it back to a playlist again.
