Realtek Audio Console Connector Retasking disappeared
Hello I’m currently using an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 laptop
So I’ve encountered some problems with using the Realtek Audio Console recently.
For the past month, I’ve encountered the “Can not connect to RPC service” error twice. My solution was to just reinstall the audio drivers. For the first time it happened, I was able to get the Realtek Audio Console working properly. For the second time, some problems appeared.
Originally, plugging in a device on the audio jack would prompt a Connector Retasking window for Headphone, Headset, Mic In, etc; but this time I’m just stuck with Headphones. Even if I plug in a headset or a mic, it still shows headphones. I don’t understand how this happened since I did the same thing as last time (uninstall and reinstall the Realtek HD Driver). Where did Connector Retasking go?
I already reinstalled everything I could think of but to no avail.
A solution would be welcome. If possible, I also wanna know how could I avoid the “Can not connect to RPC service” error in the future cause 2 times in the past month is not a good sign.
