I have a rather strange question/issue regarding Ubuntu 22.10:
On an HP Dragonfly G3 with 5G, the Intel 5G Solution 5000, provided by Mediatek, when booting from the LiveCD (iso of course), the 5G chip is recognized and I can enable it, works like a charm.
When I install Ubuntu from this very instance onto the SSD and boot the installed version, the mobile broadband is no longer detected, modem-manager doesn’t find any modems, however the chip is listed by lspci.
3rd party drivers and proprietary stuff are enabled.
Any idea, why it works in the LiveCD but not in the installed system?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
